But I think I’m paying him to be my best friend … and I think he’s going to cost me a lot of money. His full name is Chris the Plumber. He hasn’t invited me to his house yet but he mentioned that he lives in one, so I figure it only a matter of time. Chris the plumber told me that the flood wiped out our boiler and water heater. I told him that if he loved me he’d fix it for free.
He asked me for a check.
